There are three main subsections of the team that handles the construction of the robot.
Mechanical – This group handles the actual construction of the robot’s frame and body. They are the ones who design the robot and the various functions that the robot will be able to do in competition.
Electrical – This group handles the wiring and electrical components of the robot. They assemble the breadboard, which is the heart of the robot that allows it to communicate with the drivers to move and perform its intended functions.
Programming – This group deals with the communication itself between the drivers and the robot. They turn the motions of the controls into signals to the robot to perform certain functions through code, both in C++ and Java
