Yesterday was the last day of the Northeastern Regional Event. It was an amazing day for the team. We managed to pull through and continuously win matches up until our finals. Notice to all Juniors and Seniors: there is a scholarship meeting tomorrow (1/25/2014) at 11:30am. Parents are welcome and invited to attend. All interested students (which should be ALL juniors and seniors) should meet at the church beforehand, and will walk over as a group to the high school (QHS Room C325), where the meeting is to be held.
Due to scheduling conflicts with several other events, we would like to change the date of the competition.

This year Team HYPER dedicated an entire day to building our FRC practice field. 7 hours of building the field compressed into 1 minute 30 seconds, and then put to David Garrett’s “The 5th”.
We will be holding our annual kickoff event on January 8th from 10:00-1:00. Last year we had over 100 participants and I expect the same if not more this year. It is an exciting time and fun event to attend. Details to follow. – Smith

There is a “non-madatory” meeting tomorrow at the church from 3:00-4:30 for finalizing our preparations for Saturday’s Lego League competition and set up for our judges and ref training.
We will not be meeting this week. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday November 16th from 3:00 to 5:00 at the church. That night there will also be a special meeting for JUNIORS and SENIORS at Quincy High School in computer lab A414.
